(As per Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act, 2013)
Effective from 9th December, 2013
Fakir Mohan University has zero tolerance policy for sexual harassment and constituted, Internal Complaint Committee (ICC)
Sexual harassment includes unwelcome sexual behavior of direct or undertone such as,
- Physical Contact and advances
- Unwelcome physical, verbal or non-verbal conduct of sexual nature
- Demand or request for sexual favour
- Sexually coloured remark
- Showing pornography
- Creating an intimidating offensive or hostile learning environment
- Humiliating treatment likely to affect the health, safety dignity or physical integrity of the person concerned
How to prepare a complaint?
- Write exactly what happened with details, dates, name of witnesses & documents, if any
- Be specific about the incident / incidences
- Be honest, as false complaints can invite penalties
- You need to file a complaint of sexual harassment within three months of the incident
