Statistics in Education

At the end of this course the student will be able to:

  • Explain the concept, Nature and type of Scales of Measurement

  • Describe the importance of statistics in education.

  • Find out the descriptive statistics such as; mean, median, mode, standard

    deviation, quartile deviation from organized data.

  • Analyze data following parametric and non- parametric statistical techniques.

    And analyse data and test hypothesis.

  • Interpret the findings obtained through statistical analysis and generate

    conclusions.
